That was me one slow weekend, near a shelf, when I saw Nutella. One min, I was down about what to eat, the next I was making treats full of that choc blend.

These treats trick you. They look plain, but bite in & warm Nutella oozes out.

They’re soft, sweet, & snug, like you’re still in a blanket.

I like them ’cause they’re grand for guests & no fuss to make when life’s busy.

The mix is easy, soft, & a bit flaky, fits the Nutella well.

My first try came on a spur. Had stuff like butter, flour, milk, & Nutella.

I hid spoonfuls in the dough & baked. It was like some spell. Ate three hot from the oven. No regrets.

This recipe’s easy. You don’t need to know much. Just need a bowl, cold butter, & not eat all Nutella first. Work fast to keep butter cold.

I roll the dough half an inch thick. I cut rounds with a cutter or a glass. Now the fun. I add a spoon of Nutella & top with more dough. Press edges so it stays in.

Heat the oven to 375 degrees. In 12 15 mins, treats are gold & smell good. My sign to make a brew.

Eat while warm. The Nutella inside is soft & perfect. Sprinkle sugar on top if you want, but they’re good plain.

Put them in a basket with parchment for a snug feel or set them neat on a plate to look nice. Good with coffee, tea, or hot choc for a sweet treat.

Leftovers? Store in a tight box for two to three days. Not as good, but heat them up & they’re close. Freeze ’em, too. Bake from frozen for ten mins.

Cold butter is key. I might freeze it a bit. Mix ’til it just blends. Press the cutter hard & don’t twist. You can try other fillings like peanut butter or jam. All work.

A milk brush on top adds a gold look. Want them sweeter? Add more sugar.

Kids can help, but watch for lost Nutella.

That smell while they bake? Worth it. Makes the house smell great when guests come.
